What am I buying?
You are purchasing a license to use our high-quality scenic video clips. You are not purchasing the copyright or ownership of the footage itself; all ownership remains with the original creator.
How do I receive my footage after purchase?
After your payment is complete, you will receive a download link for your video file(s). If you created an account, your purchases will also be available in your account dashboard.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards and PayPal.
What if I can't find the clip I'm looking for?
We have a much larger library of footage that isn't yet on the website. If you're looking for a specific shot, location, or theme, please contact us! We may have exactly what you need.
Why don't I see my order confirmation in my email?
Sometimes our confirmation emails take a few minutes to be delivered. If you don't see it right away, please check your spam or junk folder. It's also possible there was a typo in your email address at checkout. If you still can't find it, please contact us and we'll be happy to help.
How can I recover my purchases? If you've lost your download email or can't find your order, you can have your purchase links resent to your email. Please visit our recovery page, enter the email address you used for the purchase, and we'll send the links again.
Do I need to create an account?
While you can check out as a guest, creating an account allows you to easily access your download links and purchase history all in one place.
What's the difference between the Standard and Extended License?
The main differences are the number of projects and the allowed media:
Can I use the footage for a client project?
Yes. You can use the footage in a final project for a client under both licenses. However, your client cannot take the raw footage from that project and use it for a different purpose. The license is for you, not your client.
Can I use the footage in more than one project?
Are there any restrictions on how I can use the footage?

Do I need to credit Scenic Footage?
No, a credit is not required, but it is always appreciated!
What about model or property releases?
If a clip contains identifiable people or private property, we will mark it as "Model Released" or "Property Released." If a clip is not marked, you are responsible for getting any necessary permissions for your specific use.
What format and resolution are the video files?
Most clips are available in 4K, 5K, 6K or 8K resolutions. Each video page provides the details of the resolution and frame rate.
What if there is a problem with my file, or it's not correct? While we check all our files, technical issues can occasionally happen. If you download a file that is corrupt, is not the correct clip you purchased, or has other technical faults, please contact us immediately. We will work with you to resolve the issue, and if we can't provide you with a working file, we will, of course, make it right, including a potential refund if needed.
What is your refund policy? Due to the digital nature of our products, all sales are generally final. However, if you experience a technical issue with a file that we cannot resolve (as mentioned above), we will issue a refund.
